As Operations Director, Stephen has responsibility for the AltASeal ® development program. Stephen is a technical project leader with over two decades of experience bringing devices from concept to clinical study and commercialisation. He has extensive expertise with devices for the treatment of coronary, cardiovascular, neurological and autoimmune conditions. At CroíValve, Stephen drove the concept development to achieve concept freeze for the company’s first chronic implantable system. Previous to CroíValve, Stephen was a technical leader at both Mallinckrodt and Renishaw, where he successfully led the development, manufacture and design transfer of a novel neurological drug delivery system for the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Stephen holds a M. Eng by degree by research from University of Limerick and a Diploma in Statistics from Trinity College Dublin.
