As Chief Financial Officer, Conor is responsible for all finance, tax, legal and related matters. Conor has over twenty years’ experience operating at senior management and board level in the pharma and biotech industries. He joined Altascience Ltd in April 2023. Prior to this role, he was the Finance Director of Inflazome Ltd. – a venture capital supported biotech company acquired by Roche Pharmaceuticals Ltd. for an upfront payment of $450m plus milestone payments.Before this, he held senior finance roles serving as CFO of Opsona Therapeutics Ltd. (an early-stage Irish biotech company) and Vice-President, Finance of Amarin Pharmaceuticals Ltd (a NASADQ quoted late-stage pharma company).Prior to Amarin, he spent ten years with Elan Corporation plc most recently as Director of Finance based in California, USA. He has extensive experience in fundraising for early-stage companies having raised over $100m in a number of debt and equity financing rounds. Conor is a Certified Accountant and a graduate of Stanford University Graduate School of Business - Strategic Leadership for CFOs.
